TMAGnificent makeover draws a holiday crowd

The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) has recently undergone a makeover and it would seem that it has been money well spent with the facility brimming with families and holidays goers when Mr Iced Vovo and I popped in for a wander recently.

With large open spaces and well thought out display cabinets, even when busy, TMAG visitors can still interact comfortably with what’s on display. Be certain to venture into the most recently transformed part of the museum the Bond Store Galleries.

Here is a little of what caught our eye:

There are many changing collections and displays at TMAG so make sure you visit their website to find out what is currently on that may be of interest before your next visit.

TMAG also has a lovely gift shop and café (with indoor and outdoor seating) perfect for ending your visit to the facility or for a wee break in-between.
