Located on site at Barnbougle Lost Farm, is not only a world class golf facility but a magnificently relaxing Spa complex. The Spa’s aim is to use natural Tasmanian ingredients, from Melle Beauty in their treatments to create an unique local experience.

On the crest of a dramatic coastal dune, you can relax and being pampered in the Spa whilst taking in the spectacular views of the Bass Straight and the Tasmanian Hinterland.

The Spa at Barnbougle Lost Farm includes single and couples treatment rooms, a steam room, magnesium salt vitality pool and relaxation room. The Steam Room is a beautiful space where you can eliminate toxins and ease tension and muscular soreness while the magnesium – salt vitality pool is set on a sandy outcrop to give the feeling of sitting on top of the world. The magnesium salts allow you to soak, re-energise and sooth without the harsh chemical effects of chlorine jacuzzi’s, perfect for people with sensitive skin.

After two full days of golf Mr Iced Vovo and I decided to treat ourselves to a spa treatment. We opted for a Vitality Pass that gave us access to the magnesium spa, the steam room and the relaxation lounge. At $35pp for 60 mins this pass was a great way to unwind whilst at the same time getting a taste of what the spa is all about. While we found the steam room a little too hot we loved the spa that has a perfect location looking out over the golf course below and the Bass Strait beyond the dunes. The hour flew as we rested and re-invigorated our tired muscles in the spa but it was the best way to finish off the golfing trip.
