Squirrels, snow, shrines, shopping and more in Sapporo

It’s hard to believe that it is already a year since Mr Iced Vovo and I headed off on our three month trip to Japan, Greece and the USA. The first stop was Japan that saw us training from Narita Airport to Kyoto, flying to Sapporo in a blizzard before flying back into Haneda Airport, Tokyo.

Here are some shots of our time in Sapporo, the capital of the north island of Hokkaido that sees a minimum of 5m of snow per year!

With my Sister, Nephew and Brother-in-law around to show us their home-town we had a wonderful visit exploring the sights of Sapporo.
