Fallen Flowers

Upon the grave the flowers wither and weep
Left to decay along with the bones beneath.
Their petals fall, all their nutrients seep
upon the grave. The flowers wither and weep,
their stems bent over they cry with pain and deep
loss, for the souls and brittle bones wrapped in sheath.
Upon the grave the flowers wither and weep
Left to decay along with the bones beneath.
