From the garden


Fresh and delicious – the zucchini plants continue to provide us with wonderful blooms and meals as does the prolific fig tree.

I have been using the figs in salads drizzled with the Pukara Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar I mentioned in yesterdays post Saucy Sauces, or slightly cooked wrapped in prosciutto or just eaten fresh.

The shallots I’ve left to linger in the ground picking as needed and they are plump and fragrantly delicious.
