Styling with Iced Vovo

This year Mr Iced Vovo’s work Chirstmas function was a cocktail party held at Tug bar at the Wharf in Hobart.

Relishing the opportunity to wear something a little different and getting away from the normal sit down dinner I jumped at the chance to be the plus one to this function!

I know I’ll be wearing this outfit again – it was both comfortable and cool on a balmy evening.

This funky dress is a Dogstar Design purchased on eBay. A flattering fit with its A-line form and just that right amount of edginess with the zipper features forming the straps.

Shoes are Zola Lady Zara in black suede purchased at Polly Shoes in Centrepoint Hobart a couple of years ago.

Quaint Japanese setting and rich colours.

Hat is one of Pheigi Sugahara MacDonald’s wonderful designs. See my feature story on her millinery Red Dragon Fly Aka Tombo.

The ear rings are an old purchase from Sydney – small black crosses with a white jewel centre.

Necklace was a brass and black jewel drop purchased from a street market in New York years ago.

The ring was a recent purchase from Tiffany & Co in New York – a classic wide silver band with gold padlock centre.

IMG_1930I love this shiny black leather Coach handbag I got at the discount shopping centre in Sapporo Japan. It is just the right size for purse, keys, lipstick, glasses…
