You can’t beat handmade!

With some Birthday money in my wallet I had a wee spree and got myself some lovely handmade goodies that I know will become favourites in the wardrobe.

I’m certain all will be getting an airing (or two) over the holiday period with various gatherings planned for Christmas and New Year.

First up are these lovely pieces from Deb at Flotsam and Jetsum (see A Curious Collection at Flotsam and Jetsum):

The dress is from another favourite hand-crafter Jo at Frankie & Ray (see Frankie brings a little ray of sunshine) and has gone under the tree for my Christmas treat from from Mr Iced Vovo.

I just love the colours in the graphic fabric on the top and with the flattering A-line silhouette and practical pockets this dress is bound to get lots of wear throughout the year!

With Christmas being another time when getting a few bob is a wonderful treat I know what I’ll be looking for with my dollars – more handmade delights (and a little for my savings stash too!)

Fingers crossed for a beautiful sunny Christmas day perfect for Goldilocks (not too hot, not too cold, but juuuust right! ;)) as we’re hoping to get into the cozzies and into the spa too! (some unsightly photos are bound to end up on the blog afterwards!)
